Bridging the gap between EPFO, stakeholders

In its effort to bridge the communication gap between EPFO and its various stakeholders, the ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ programme was conducted here recently.

Navin Kumar Kanaujia, Regional Commissioner-II, Mysuru, chaired the programme, which also aimed to provide a platform for exchange of ideas.

Mr. Kanaujia, while explaining the service to subscribers, said that of the 5,642 claims settled by the organisation in Mysuru, 1,023 had been settled within three days.

Around 33,700 pensioners had been paid Rs. 44.30 crore pension during the financial year 2016-17.

EPFO is in forefront of delivering the service to family members of deceased subscribers. Mr. Kanaujia said around 8,360 widow pensioners have been paid pension and around 4,317 children were getting pension under the EPS scheme from SRO, Mysuru.
