Bank manager falls off moving train in Yadgir, dies

A 40-year-old bank manager died after he slipped and fell off a moving train at the Yadgir City Railway Station just as the Coimbatore-Kurla Express was leaving the station in the early hours of Sunday.

The Government Railway Police of Raichur, under whose limits the station falls, identified the victim as T. Eranna, a native of Adoni in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.

Transfer

He was working at the State Bank of Hyderabad, Kanakagiri branch in Koppal district, and had settled down in Yadgir as he was working here before he being transferred to the Kanakagiri branch, the police added.

A case has been registered in the Raichur Railway Police Station.
