AIISH’s stall at Dasara expo bags honour

The All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), a premier institute of the Government of India, won the first prize for its stall put up at the Mysore Dasara Exhibition–2014.

The models displayed at the stall depicted communication disorders affecting human lives such as speech disorders and deafness.

Besides the models, information on the aims of the institute with regard to treating communication disorders had been displayed at the stall.

The facilities available at AIISH for treatment of speech and hearing disorders were displayed for the benefit of visitors, a press release said.

Minister in-charge of Mysuru district V. Srinivas Prasad handed over the prize to A.R. Keerthi, publicity and information officer, AIISH, at a function held recently.

Minister for Cooperation H.S. Mahadeva Prasad, zilla panchayat president Pushpa Amarnath, and other dignitaries were present.
