30 injured as KSRTC bus falls into a field

Over 30 passengers were injured after a KSRTC bus fell into an agriculture field off Hassan-Halebidu Road on Monday afternoon.

Over 30 passengers were injured after a KSRTC bus fell into an agriculture field off Hassan-Halebidu Road on Monday afternoon.

More than 30 people suffered injuries when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus fell off Hassan-Halebidu Road, near Sanenahalli in Belur taluk, on Monday afternoon. The bus carrying people from Hassan to Javagal in Arasikere via Halebidu fell into an agriculture field around 1.30 p.m.

According to the police, the injured are being shifted to Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences in Hassan. The condition of four passengers is said to be critical. Negligence of the driver is said to be the reason for the accident.
