14 passengers suffer injuries in accident

As many as 14 passengers suffered minor injuries when a tempo traveller fell into Ramenahalli tank near Arakalgudu in the early hours of Tuesday. The vehicle carrying Ayyappaswamy devotees was headed to Shabarimala in Kerala.

The passengers were all from a village near Periyapatna in Mysuru district. Negligence of the driver is considered to be reason for the accident. Residents of Ramenahalli rushed to the spot and rescued the injured stuck in the vehicle.

The incident happened in Arakalgudu police limits.
