13 projects worth Rs. 9,912 cr. cleared

The Karnataka State High-Level Clearance Committee, chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, which met here on Wednesday has cleared 13 projects with an investment of nearly Rs. 9,912 crore. The projects are expected to create 5,986 jobs in the districts of Bagalkot, Bangalore Urban, Bellary, Dharwad, Haveri, Kolar, Mysore, Ramanagaram and Uttara Kannada.

Briefing presspersons after the meeting, the Chief Minister said that several new proposals of 13 companies, including M/S Toyota Auto Parts with an investment of Rs. 250 crore, King Wood Décor Pvt. Ltd. (Rs. 703.78 crore), Micro Labs Ltd. (Rs. 200 crore), Deerfield Logistics Pvt. Ltd. (Rs 1,000 crore) and Cataler India Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd. (investment of Rs. 105 crore) had been cleared.

Apart from this, amendments such as extension of time, increase in investment, change of location and enhancement of capacity were accorded to 17 projects that were approved earlier.
