The 9th graduation day of JSS Law College was held here on Saturday.
The graduating students were drawn from different courses, including BA, LLB; BBA, LLB; LLB, and LLM. Of the 53 men and 50 women who received degrees, 12 were foreign nationals.
Jawad Rahim, Judicial Member, National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi, was the chief guest and addressed the graduating students.
The toppers in BA LLB course were Deche M. Mercy (I), Dickyi Pedlon (II), Chitra B. Rao (III); in the BBA LLB course B.H. Chitrasmitha topped the scroll of honour, Meghali Talukdar stood 2nd, and P. Loganayai 3rd. In the LLB course, P. Pradeep was ranked 1st, P.A. Sebastian 2nd, and Gyamar Maya was the 3rd rank holder.
Appaji Gowda, advocate and Member of State Bar Council, and K.S. Suresh, principal, JSS Law College, were present.
