‘Bandipur needs help’

In an unprecedented development, PCCF (Wildlife) B.G. Hosmat has sent out appeals for help to the public and the NGOs stating that “Bandipur fire this year is turning out to be complex, day by day”. He said providing food and drinking water to the front line staff at the site will be of great help and those intending to support firefighting efforts may contact the Forest Department. Meanwhile, a few NGOs have volunteered to assist the department by way of men and material, and have reached out to the forest sites.
