Two Indian men, Ajit Pal Singh (31), and Randhir Singh (20), have been charged for allegedly using a chat application, along with a third unidentified person, to blackmail, abduct and rape an Australian woman.

The woman accepted a friend request from one of the men through the application and agreed to meet him at a shopping centre the next day. On reaching, she found three men in a car but did not greet them. One of them then got out of the car, threatened to tell her husband about the alleged sexual content of the messages, abducted her and sexually assaulted her, while photographing the incident in the car, police said.
