India trying for Anderson's extradition: Pranab

India is trying for the extradition of the former Union Carbide chairman, Warren Anderson, Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said here on Saturday.

“We are trying,” Mr. Mukherjee said, when asked whether India was making any effort for his extradition.

He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a symposium on compliance management, governance and financial markets.
