Gujarat: Three more die of swine flu

Swine flu on Saturday claimed three people in the State, taking the toll to 23 while 175 persons were tested positive for the viral infection in Gujarat.

According to Principal Secretary, Health, Ravi Saxena, two women in Surat and one person in Vadodara died of swine flu and three persons were tested positive .

He said a 49-year-old Anjuben Laxmanbhai, who had tested positive of H1N1, was admitted in New Civil Hospital in Surat died while another 27-year-old Miraben Dubey, also an H1N1 positive, died there.

The third person who died was a 17-year-old Sandip Kachiya at SSG Hospital in Vadodara.
