Four persons were injured in a grenade blast at Ganeshguri in Guwahati on Tuesday.
The police was yet to ascertain the identity of the people behind the blast. No militant outfit has claimed responsibility.
The injured — an autorickshaw driver and three passers-by — have been admitted to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. Their condition is stated to be stable.
Inspector-General of Police (Central Western Range) G.P. Singh told The Hindu that three of the injured sustained splinter injuries and the fourth complained of deafness.
