Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has asked the Jammu and Kashmir government to identify land for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri migrants.

In a letter to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah regarding implementation of the rehabilitation scheme, the Home Minister suggested that land may be identified for Kashmiri Pandits near places from where they had migrated.

He advised that adequate security should be provided in such areas.

Mr. Singh said the Union government was committed to facilitating the return and rehabilitation of the migrants.
