ED seeks papers from Delhi Police on Sunanda Pushkar

Sunanda Pushkar had a “sweat” equity of Rs.70 crore in the Kochi IPL franchise.

The Enforcement Directorate has sought from the Delhi Police documents pertaining to the Sunanda Pushkar case to probe the money trail behind it.

In response to the request for investigating the financial angle, the ED wrote to the Delhi Police in the first week of August asking for the papers.

Earlier, the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police was probing the alleged financial irregularities involving the Kochi IPL franchise. Rendezvous Sports World was a member of the consortium that had won the Kochi IPL franchise. Ms. Pushkar had a “sweat” equity of Rs.70 crore in the franchise.
