The Congress leadership is considering taking appropriate action against Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy for defying the party's direction and going ahead with his proposed ‘Odarpu Yatra' in Warangal district on Friday.

Party media department chairman and in-charge of disciplinary committee Janardhan Dwivedi hinted that the appropriate follow-up action against Mr. Jagan would be taken based on the report of Union Law Minister and party general secretary in-charge of Andhra Pradesh M. Veerappa Moily.

Mr. Moily told The Hindu that the State government would take care of the law and order issue.
