British citizen found dead at Kolkata hotel

A 27-year-old British citizen, Frost Daniel Barrett, was found dead in the Central Point Hotel room in New Market area of the city, police said here on Friday.

According to police Mr. Barrett who was asthmatic died of a heart attack.

"He should was dead for more than 48 hours when we broke into his room. The body had decomposed,” the police said.

“Mr. Barrett’s room was closed since Wednesday. The hotel staff informed us today in the morning. We recovered inhalers near the body,” the police added.

The inhalers have been sent to a laboratory for examination and investigations are on.
