Two resolutions at the meeting of the newly constituted national executive of the BJP will take stock of the politico-economic situation under the Modi government and will highlight its successes on the international arena. The meeting is being held on April 3 and 4 in Bengaluru
A comprehensive resolution will highlight the various programmes initiated by the Modi government and flag issues such as the Land Acquisition Bill, strategies for winning the coming Assembly elections, the success of the membership drive and steps to strengthen the party. Another resolution will talk about the achievements of government internationally.
BJP president Amit Shah had set up a drafting committee comprising senior office bearers Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, Bhupinder Yadav, Prabhat Jha who drafted the politico-economic resolution. General Secretary Ram Madhav drew the resolution on international affairs.
Speaking to The Hindu Mr. Madhav said after the membership drive the party would have a reach-out programme followed by training of workers up till the booth level. While strategising on the Land Acquisition Bill will be a core issue, the executive will also work out a plan for Assembly elections in Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, he said.
