The Supreme Court on Thursday granted bail to Srinivas Talluri, auditor in the Price Waterhouse and accused in the Satyam fraud case for allegedly conniving with its founder B. Ramalinga Raju and other aides.
A three-Judge Bench comprises Justices K. G. Balakrishnan, J.M. Panchal and B.S. Chauhan granted bail on his furnishing a personal bond of Rs. 20 lakh and two sureties each for a like sum.
The bench directed him to appear twice a month before the CBI and not to leave Hyderabad without informing the investigating agency. Further he should make himself available before the CBI as and when required for investigation.
After the Andhra Pradesh High Court had rejected his bail plea, he moved the Supreme Court.
