Union Minister for Defence A.K. Antony on Saturday declined to comment on the Supreme Court’s criticism of the Union government over the process to fix Army Chief’s age.

“My dear media persons show some more patience. The matter is before the Supreme Court,” was how he responded to reporters on the sidelines of a function here.

The Supreme Court had on Friday taken the Centre to task over the issue of age of the Chief of the Army, Gen. V.K. Singh observing that the government decision making process went against the principles of natural justice and the Constitution.
