Antony condoles AP Chief Minister's death

Defence Minister A.K. Antony Thursday condoled the “sudden and untimely demise” of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy in a helicopter crash.

Mr. Antony, who was known to be close to Reddy for many years, expressed his profound grief and shock at the incident.

“The nation has lost a man of the masses and the people of Andhra Pradesh have lost a true son of the soil,” said Mr. Antony.

Dr. Reddy and four others were killed in a helicopter crash Wednesday.
