Congress MP Madhu Yaskhi has asked public prosecutors of Telangana to play their role in protection of properties in the region against illegalities committed by some Seemandhra realtors, industrialists and businessmen.
Addressing a meeting of public prosecutors from Telangana at a function to release the New Year diary of their association here on Sunday, Mr. Madhu assured that the MPs of the region will take care of the problem in Parliament if the public prosecutors did their bit legally.
The secretary general of TRS K. Keshava Rao said the party president K. Chandrasekhar Rao who was supposed to address the meeting did not attend as anything that he spoke in the present circumstances would be seen with a “magnifying glass”. Irrespective of what he spoke, the tendency was to present a controversial picture of Mr. Rao.
Therefore, he abstained. TRS leader B. Vinod Kumar said the public prosecutors and police will have an important role to play in the reconstruction of Telangana. Advocate leaders M. Rajender Reddy and T. Sriranga And public prosecutors association president J.V. Narsing Rao also spoke.
