‘Chief Minister has given a fresh lease of life to the Congress in Seemandhra’

Social Welfare Minister Pitani Satyanarayana on Sunday likened Chief Minister N. Kirankumar Reddy to Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in exposing the party leadership’s “wrongdoings.” “The Chief Minister has raised his voice in favour of Samaikyandhra similar to how Mr. Rahul Gandhi reacted in the case of the ordinance on convicted lawmakers. When Mr. Rahul’s reaction is justified, how can the reaction of Mr. Reddy be viewed as anti party?” he questioned while addressing a media conference here.

Dig at Deputy CM

He made light of the demand from the T Congress and the TRS for resignation of the Chief Minister for his perceived defiance postures against the Congress high command.

Referring to labelling of Mr. Kirankumar Reddy as “sealed cover Chief Minister” by Deputy Chief Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha, the Minister said Mr. Rajanarasimha too reached the top post in a similar manner. Mr. Satyanarayana praised the Chief Minister for giving a fresh lease of life to the Congress in the Seemandhra region with his “plainspeak” against the move to disintegration the State.

When the TDP and the YSRC were acting as fence-sitters on a sensitive issue, Mr. Kirankumar Reddy remained firm, unmindful of the repercussions, he said.

The Minister said that all Central and State Ministers, MLAs, and MPs of the Congress from the Seemandhra region were scheduled to meet in Hyderabad on Oct.3 to chart out a plan of action.

telangana is a foregone conclusion.what KKR is doing is to play a martyr and try to secure his sagging image in his own doing so he is also weaning away disenchanted congress cadres from joining the jagan party.he is doing this with the blessings of the high command.its unthinkable for any congressman to do any thing like this without the blessings of the HC. KKR is also wasting the time and energies of lakhs of ordinary people of the seemandhra by inciting them to agitate the people of seema-andhra should realise that its too late in the day to stop telangana .the andhra leadership has let them down very badly.their leaders were asleep when telangana was struggling for the past 13 years and woke up to a jolt in the 11th hr.after the cwc resolution. The people of seema andhra should concentrate their energies in direction of building a new state.
