MIM president and Lok Sabha member Asaduddin Owaisi said that the nation is going to face a problem in choosing between secular forces and communal forces in the next elections.
Alleging that some of the TV channels and print media have been projecting a larger-than-life picture of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, he said that the MIM would pull out all stops to prevent Mr. Modi from becoming the Prime Minister.
Participating in a programme held here late on Saturday night, Mr. Asaduddin said that the Congress has been heading towards defeat and the party may not win more than 30 seats in the next Assembly elections in the State.
“The police may create some hindrances in our travel and slow our speed by keeping us in jail, but cannot reduce our confidence in the political fight,” he said asked the Muslim youth not to get instigated by the police action and instead, express their displeasure in a democratic manner during the elections. He has alleged that the government had failed to meet the expectations of the minorities in the State.

People of India are trying to find some solace in the name of modi when they were worried about the country's future that the so called secular forces did nothing but weakend the country's growth in every aspect from the past 9 yrs. I request you to give such statements often to drive people's mind to take a right decision.
Talk to the Muslims in Gujrat, offer them freebies to move to Hyderabad
and see if they take them, fact is that the MUSLIMS have never had it
better in GUJRAT.
Keep your distorted politics to yourself.
Its a big surprise how a few parties in India are very confidant of winning elections with no mention of the word development.
Caste and Religion are the two major factors for these parties which make no promises of free land to poor, Free power to farmers, Freebies to BPL people, Free laptops. I would still prefer people voting for free power/ Freebies rather than on religion or caste
This has definitely changed my mind. I will vote for M.I.M definitely. In M.I.M there are lot of OBC councillors being given seats. Even in the recently help Municipal Poll for Borabanda, M.I.M's candidate was a Hindu, whereas Congress candidate was a Muslim.
Is it just a personal or a general feeling that the name or discussions of Narendra Modi definitely brings a tone of communalism evident in the comments even. Its unfortunate. The main Issue with Indian politics has been a subconscious focus on a person, a dynasty or a party. If i talk as a christian, i clearly hate Modi. Though i have a lot of Christian friends from Gujarat who are core supporters of Modi. True there has been a lot of development. But as some reports have come out, other than in terms of Business and Infrastructural development, in all other indices of human development, Gujarat lags behind. Enough to say all development was at someones cost. The voiceless perhaps. And the people with say hype up their benefits.
Roads and good infra does not indicate development. Are humans being pulled out of misery is the end question.
Choose wise India!
Do Mr. Owaisi represent a politician or a Fanatic? People need to stop or Government need to stop such people making statements which is purely set to ignite communial violance. There are things which has happend in the past, & Hindusthan is a country which was so tolarent, & that is why we welcomed all faith to this land. My dear friend Mr. Owaisi should understand that we all living in this country love peace & not violance...... Hope people in this country has got brain to understand what Mr. Modi is & if he can revive this country as one Strong Nation....
I was undecided till now, but you changed my mind. I will vote for Modi!
This is exactly the tonic that will make a lot of undecided people vote for Mr. Modi! We have played the politics of prevention for very long. We have a genuine enabler in Modi, and India is impatient for progress right now. Thank you Mr. Owaisi.
Mr.Asaduddin is not the person to decide who should become PM or not. No one can prevent somebody becoming PM if he enjoys the confidence of the elected representatives and their coalition. Mr Asaduddin better concentrate on his community's miseries and solve them first and educate them. The people will decide whom they want to elect.
Owaisi's statement is like the pot calling the kettle black.
