Venture development society opened at VVIT

A venture development society was inaugurated at Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT), Nambur, in a joint initiative of Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation and Northeastern Varsity of Boston.

Chairman of VVIT, Vasireddy Vidyasagar said the new venture development society was to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the university.

Krishna P. Nangegadda, Director, of Northeastern University, said the International Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (i2E), was an initiative to promote the culture of innovation-based entrepreneurship in students. He said i2E was established in partnership and close collaboration with Northeastern University of Boston, USA.

Under i2E, courses in Entrepreneurship development were planned for aspiring students to turn them into entrepreneurs with the expert guidance of globally experienced entrepreneurs.

VVIT Secretary Badari Prasad, academic secretary Sree Krishna, principal Y.Mallikarjuna Reddy and officials of APSSDC were present.
