A day after being elected Vice-President, M. Venkaiah naidu on Sunday reached the abode of Lord Venkateswara on a thanksgiving visit. He was accompanied by his daughter Deepa Venkat.

On his arrival at the Padmavati guest house, he was accorded a warm reception by TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal, JEO KS Srinivasa Raju and other officials.

Mr. Naidu, who came in a special aircraft from Bengaluru at around 7.30 p.m., proceeded to Tirumala .

He shall pay his obeisances to the presiding deity at the hill temple on Monday during the VIP break.

Prominent among others who were present include Rajya Sabha member C.M. Ramesh, BJP State spokesperson Bhanu Prakash Reddy and others.
