Elaborate arrangements are being made for the three-day annual Vasanthotsavam festival scheduled to begin from April 2 at the famous hill temple of Lord Venkateswara.

As a prelude to the festival which is observed every year heralding the onset of the spring season ‘Ankurarpana’ will be conducted on the previous day (April 1) followed by a series of rituals like ‘Punyaha vachanam’, ‘Vaasthu santi’ and ‘Samprokshanam’ by the priests. The festival is observed on the auspicious day of Suddha Triyodashi in the month of Chaitra.
