DB Cup Super-Six Day & Night Cricket Tournament ended on a high note here on Monday after the players from Vasanth Kumar XI won over Ashok XI.
The matches played under floodlights at Pitchukulagunta grounds were a special attraction during the summer vacation. Players use a tennis ball in the matches. Put into bat, the Ashok team scored 48 runs in six overs and the target was easily achieved by Vasanth Kumar team which chased down the target in just 5.3 overs.
Former Vijji Trophy player P. Sarath Kumar was the chief guest in the presentation ceremony. DB Fashions managing director Purnachandra Rao gave away the trophy.
