US medical team organises camp

A 20-member medical team from the United States held a medical camp at Cloughpet here on Friday. Over 200 persons were screened by the team led by diabetologist Tod Ingaram and NRI orthopaedic surgeon Ch. Kalyan Kumar at Welfare of Innocent Neglected Guarding Society (WINGS) premises here. WINGS Director Chintapalli Ramakrishna, distributed medicines free of cost to the needy patients. The team also examined 500 patients at Thimmasamudram and Lingasamudram in Prakasam district, WINGS president Ch.Udaya Janaki Lakshmi said.
