Two remand prisoners escaped from police custody under the Two Town police station limits here in the early hours of Tuesday. According to the police, Katta Siva Sankar alias Laddu of Vedurupaka and Katta Satti Babu of Kovvada in East Godavari district were serving their term in Visakhapatnam for property offences. They attended the court on Monday relating to one of the property offences and while returning to jail, they diverted the attention of the escort police and escaped.
