The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set to launch a state-of-the-art diagnostic centre in Tirupati to cater for poor patients. TTD Executive Officer D. Sambasiva Rao on Thursday called upon the medical fraternity of SVIMS, BIRRD and Maternity Hospital, all located on contiguous campuses, to come up with an action plan towards establishing a common diagnostic facility. During his review meeting with the medical superintendents of Ruia and Maternity Hospital over various developmental activities, Dr. Rao spoke of the need to bring all the four major hospitals under a common roof to serve the needy.

He suggested that the two State-run hospitals make effective use of government and ‘Arogyasri’ funds. He also suggested that a committee be formed with Ruia Deputy Superintendent, Medical and Health Engineer and the TTD’s Superintending Engineer for development of common infrastructure.

Deputy Superintendent (SVRR) C.Sandhya and TTD’s Superintending Engineer-I Ramesh Reddy took part.
