The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has resolved not to entertain recommendation letters for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara from December 23 amid expectation of massive turnout in view of the holiday season. Only VIPs who come under protocol category will be offered darshan.

A decision on the revival of the VIP darshan slot will be taken during the first week of the New Year.
Arijitha sevas
The TTD has already annulled the arjitha sevas for five days from December 28.
