TTD falls under ambit of RTI Act: AP Information Commissioner

When questioned about the exclusion of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) from RTI Act, Andhra Pradesh Information Commissioner Lam Tantia Kumari reiterated her statements saying that any institution utilising people’s money would fall under the law. “The organisation runs on people’s money and the latter have every right to know how it is being spent. There should be transparency in transactions,” she remarked.
