: Former MP and Congress candidate for Medak Assembly seat M. Vijayashanti has alleged that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K. Chandrasekhar Rao never keeps his word.
Ms. Vijayashanti who addressed several election meetings in the constituency along with former Congress legislator P. Sashidhar Reddy on Monday said that unlike TRS leaders, she never indulged in fund collections. “I fought for Telangana irrespective of the party I was with. It was the Congress which got statehood for Telangana and how can others claim credit for it?” she asked.
