A two-year old girl met a watery grave when she fell into a water tank at Urban Colony in Dammapeta on Tuesday.
According to sources, Smiley, 2, the daughter of a farm labourer couple, accidentally slipped into an uncovered water tank while playing in front of her house in the morning. She drowned in the tank which was filled to the brim, sources added. Her mother, who was engaged in daily chores, noticed the body of her daughter floating in the tank a few minutes later.
