The TNGOs’ Association leaders here on Thursday announced that the employees would donate their one week’s salary to political parties provided they give ticket to T-JAC leaders in elections and also for the reconstruction of Telangana.
At a joint press conference here, T-JAC convenor and the association district president Gaini Gangaram explained that the week’s salary of the association members would add up to Rs.7 crore which would be donated to political parties if they offered party ticket to JAC leaders. He also deplored that some political parties were ignoring the contribution made by T-JAC leaders to the T-agitation.
Charge against TRSIn an oblique reference to TRS, the committee district chairman I. Gopal Sarma accused the party of inviting persons who had never been associated with the movement into its fold and giving ticket to them. The JAC members would not spare such parties in the elections and make efforts for the defeat of their candidates, he said.
Another T-JAC convenor and CPI (ML)-New Democracy leader V. Prabhakar in a direct attack on the TRS said that it was admitting persons who tried to betray the Telangana cause and also unleashed tyranny against agitators. The TNGOs’ Association district general secretary A. Kishan and the T-JAC treasurer Bhaskar were also present.
