Three-member AP team to visit Japan

A three-member team from Andhra Pradesh, comprising Special Representative to Andhra Pradesh Government at Delhi, Kambhampati Rama Mohan Rao , Principal Secretary (Finance) P V Ramesh, and Secretary Industries S.S. Rawat. will visit Japan for five days from Tuesday.The visit is taking place at the invitation of Takakazu Ishii, Governor of Toyama Prefecture.

The delegation will visit Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe and Toyama during their stay in Japan.

Apart from following up on various investment opportunities initiated during the visits of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to Japan earlier, the delegation will meet key Japanese officials to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss the contours of partnership and financial assistance to Andhra Pradesh with special focus on Amaravati City development. The team will also identify areas for investments in industry and infrastructure by Japanese investors.

The draft of the proposed MoU between the AP and Toyama would be finalised. It would be signed by the Chief Minister and the Toyama Governor at a mutually convenient date.
