Three more held in Nayeem case

Police nab Khaja, one of the associates, from a guest house in Goa

Speeding up investigation into the alleged land-grabbing, extortions and illegal settlements by slain gangster Nayeemuddin alias Nayeem, police on Wednesday arrested three persons, including one from a guest house in Goa.

A special team of Cyberabad police caught Nayeem’s associate Khaja in a guest house at Goa. A Bolero vehicle and Rs. 4 lakh were seized from him.

Khaja was being brought to Hyderabad for questioning. Two more accomplices of Nayeem were picked by Vanasthalipuram police of Cyberabad-East commissionerate. While the Telangana State police department formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe all cases involving Nayeem’s gang, searches at his house in Puppalaguda here continued for the second consecutive day on Wednesday.
