Farmers in the border villages have submitted a memorandum to the government, urging it to amend the guidelines for their welfare. In the memorandum, they pointed out that banks were not accepting their applications for loan waiver on the plea that the lands were located in Telangna State. Unfortunately, the Telangana government was also not in a position to waive the loans, as they were sanctioned by banks in Andhra Pradesh. The AP government, however, is yet to respond farmers say.

1.Residents of AP who have lands in Telangana had availed loans from banks in AP

2.Residents of Telangana who have land in TS who have availed loans from banks in AP

3.Farmers who own houses and lands in AP but have availed loan from banks in Telangana

4.Residents of Telangana with their lands located in AP and have availed loans from banks in TS

5.Farmers who are residents of AP and have lands in TS and have availed loans from banks in TS
