Ten students injured in road accident in Krishna district

Ten students of a private school suffered injuries in a road accident in the district on Tuesday. The condition of two of them is stated to be critical.

The mishap occurred when a speeding auto hit another auto in which the students were travelling near Ramannapudi village. The victims were admitted to the local government hospital and the condition of two students who suffered grievous injuries is stated to be serious according to the police.

The children were all natives of Komaravolu village in Pamarru mandal, and were studying primary classes. They were proceeding to the school located at Bellapadu village when the accident occurred, said the police.

A case has been registered and investigation is on.
