‘TDP, YSRC playing politics’

December 20, 2013 02:12 am | Updated May 12, 2016 07:58 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy accused the TDP and the YSR Congress for looking at the bifurcation tangle from a political view point rather than the adverse impact it would have on the two regions.

He rebutted their criticism about his absence in the Assembly when the A.P. Reorganisation Bill was tabled. “I don’t need any certificate about my sincerity from the parties that gave letters in support of division,” the Chief Minister said lamenting that the parties had no decency in making snide comments when he was indisposed.

“I am speaking about welfare while these parties are talking about politics,” he said.
