The TDP will address a letter to the Election Commission, urging it to bar Leader of the Opposition in Assembly Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is an accused in several economic offences, from heading the political outfit and derecognise the YSR Congress Party, according to TDP district president Somisetty Venkateswarlu.

Claiming that Mr. Jagan’s name figured in Paradise Papers, Mr. Venkateswarlu said the YSRCP president owed an explanation on how he amassed wealth and admit his lapses.
