TDP appoints leaders for its frontal wings

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) district unit on Sunday appointed presidents and general secretaries for its frontal organisations.

TDP district president Bachula Arjunudu on Sunday said that the presidents and general secretaries were appointed in consultation with party high command and district leaders. Chalasani Anjaneyulu has been re-appointed as the president of Telugu Rythu. Janalapati Venugopal Reddy was appointed as general secretary, he said.

Veldi Srinivas and Puvvala Ramachandra Rao were appointed as president and general secretary of Telugu Yuvatha.

Achanta Sunita and Talasila Swarnalatha were president and general secretary of Telugu Mahila, he said.

Mendru Sambasiva Rao and Surapaneni Gopichand were appointed as the Telugu Desam Trade Union Council (TNTUC) president and general secretaries respectively.

Veranki Venkata Gurumurthy and Nimmanapudi Vijay Kumar were appointed as BC Cell president and general secretary respectively, he said.

While Vasam Muniya was appointed as president of SC Cell, Chintapalli Venkateswara Rao and Buraka Balaji were appointed as general secretaries. Banavathu Badru Naik and Sanavathi Biksham were appointed as president and general secretary of ST Cell. Similarly, Sk. Anwar (Minority Cell president) and Sk. Moulali (Minority Cell general secretary), he added.
