Suspended TRS leader M. Raghunandan Rao on Friday stated that he would file a public interest litigation in the High Court soon seeking directions to investigating agencies to probe alleged corruption by the TRS leadership.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the party did not respond to his demand for making public if they had any evidence against his anti-party activities and extortion from some industrialists as alleged by the leadership 48 hours after his illegal suspension.
Meets police officials
During the last two days he had met some senior police officers along with the evidence he had against the TRS leadership’s acts of corruption.
He also sought the appointment of Joint Director of CBI and DGP for giving them the information he had on the corrupt acts of the TRS leadership. He would move the court after handing over the material to the Central and State police authorities seeking action against the TRS leaders, particularly Siddipet MLA T. Harish Rao.
Mr. Raghunandan Rao, who was the TRS district president of Medak till recently, said he would also move the Election Commission against huge unaccounted for donations accepted by the TRS and not mentioning them in their statement submitted to the ECI.
Meanwhile, Mr. Harish Rao denied all the allegations of Mr. Raghunandan Rao and asked him to handover material/evidence, if any against him or party, to CBI for a probe. He was ready to face any kind of probe. He was also considering legal action against Mr. Raghunandan Rao for making baseless allegations against him and tarnishing his image.
