Naidu vows to root out factionalism from Kadapa district

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday assured sanction of a special package to waive loans of horticulture farmers in Kadapa district, especially for Railway Kodur.

Expressing his resolve to root out factionalism from Kadapa district, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu said in ‘Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru’ public meeting at Railway Kodur that peace was imperative to attract entrepreneurs and spur industrial growth in the district. He promised agro-based industries in Kadapa district and a terminal market for horticulture produce in Railway Kodur. He promised drawal of Somasila water for catering to the drinking water needs of Rajampet town and Kundu water for Proddatur town.

He said his government was chalking out a plan for the future of students in the State and raise the academic standards by deploying modern technology. During his interaction with students in “Badi Pilustondi” programme at Obannapalle in Railway Kodur mandal, he said his government was according priority to education sector and also generation of employment and livelihood to the educated persons in the State. Information Technology-based industries and service sector would be promoted in the State.

Avenue plantation on either side of the roads would be launched soon under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme, the Chief Minister said. He planted saplings under “Neeru-Chettu” scheme and called upon people to plant saplings in their houses.

Aadhaar linkage

The government was linking all schemes with Aadhaar card to ensure transparency and eliminate ineligible beneficiaries, Mr. Naidu said. The 4.93 crore people belonging to 1.50 lakh families in the State were being linked with Aadhaar card, he said.

He rode a bullock cart during Polam Pilustondi programme and interacted with farmers. Ryots felicitated the Chief Minister by presenting him a plough and shawl.
