Vellanki Samba Siva Kumar, Head of the Civil Engineering Department of the Osmania University, Hyderabad, has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK). He will assume the office on April 15.
A native of Bhatla Penumarru village in Krishna district, Mr. Samba Siva Kumar completed his graduation from Osmania University, M.Tech. and Phd from IIT, Delhi. He started his career as a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department in Osmania University .
