‘SCS not a panacea’

July 31, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 06:07 am IST - RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM:

Urban MLA Akula Satyanarayana of the BJP has said that the SCS is not the only way to develop the State.

Addressing the media on Saturday, Dr. Satyanarayana admitted that there was some sentiment attached to the issue, but said the SCS was not a panacea.

Decrying the remarks of the Chief Minister against Union Finance Minister Arun Jaiteley’s speech in Rajya Sabha, he sought to remind that the BJP was the largest party with 12 crore membership.

Referring to the demand of MP T.G. Venkatesh that BJP MLAs resign and seek fresh mandate, he dared YSRC MLAs who joined the TDP to resign first and get re-elected.
