The condition of Satya Sai Baba, who was admitted to the Prashantigram Super Speciality Hospital in Puttaparti, is stable.

The 85-year-old Satya Sai Baba who was admitted to the hospital a few days ago following chest and lung congestion, developed respiratory problems on Friday night. According to a health bulletin released by the hospital on Saturday morning, doctors had taken the necessary steps to attend to the problem and his condition is now stable.

Satya Sai Baba’s blood pressure and sugar levels are also normal. According to the doctors, Satya Sai Baba was under constant surveillance by a team of experts and his health condition is progressing.

Hundreds of devotees and media-personnel were waiting at the hospital premises to know about his health condition. In Prashanthi Nilayam, the devotees became restive about his health condition.

Neither the relatives of Baba nor Government officials were allowed to enter the intensive care unit where he is undergoing treatment.
