Rs.2.5 cr for development of GGH

The Hospital Development Society (HDS) of Government General Hospital (GGH) has approved proposals to the tune of Rs.2.5 crore for meeting costs towards providing new equipment and infrastructure on the hospital premises.

At its first meeting attended by official members headed by District Collector Kantilal Dande on Thursday, the HDS approved proposals to the tune of Rs.1.90 crore towards meeting costs of equipment and Rs.50 lakh towards costs of infrastructure.

Further, it has also been decided to increase the DA charges to those attending the duties relating to Chief Minister programme.

Mr. Dande said that in view of anticipated rush in summer, it has been decided to provide 10 lakh litres of drinking water every day.
