A retired teacher's body was recovered from Akkupalli beach near Vajrapukotturu mandal, in Srikakulam District on Thursday.
He was identified as Appalaswamy (67). According to police, the family members were searching for him for the last few days. The fishermen suspected that he might have drowned in the sea when he came for holy bath. The police informed the family members and sent body for post-mortem in Palasa Government Hospital.
