Telangana Telugu Desam Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao’s statement on extending support to Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) in cooperative elections has created ripples in political circles in the district.
Mr. Dayakar Rao was speaking to mediapersons at Thorrur in the district on Friday.
He said that his party was ready to extend ‘unconditional’ support to TRS in the ongoing elections to the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) in the district.
He said that the decision was taken to defeat the Congress as it failed to keep up its promise to the people of Telangana on the separate statehood issue. Mr. Dayakar Rao held the Congress responsible for the scores of suicides by youth and students for the Telangana cause.
